Holy smokes, fans!! The past week has been BUZZING with news about The CW’s newest 2019 crossover event and it’s latest casting updates. Multiple sources have confirmed that it’s FINALLY HAPPENING: Erica Durance, Tom Welling and Crisis on Infinite Earths are all officially going to be sharing the same screen time!

The latest news from our favorite sources like IGN and Fandomwire confirm that both Tom Welling and Erica Durance (Smallville’s Clark Kent and Lois Lane) will be reprising their roles on this year’s Crisis on Infinite Earths. And lucky for Man of Steel fans, Tom’s not even the only veteran Superman to be joining the event… as most of you know, Brandon Routh also played Superman once before, and he’s an already recurring member of one of the CW’s Arrowverse series–DC’s Legends of Tomorrow.
The only sad news about these DC veterans reuniting, however, is fan-favorite Michael Rosenbaum–Smallville’s very own Lex Luthor–will not be reprising his role this time around… but as we’ve read online, he does have his reasons.
